The Magellan® Family of Motion Control ICs provides high performance chip-based motion control for multiple motor types, including brushless and DC brush motor control. Magellan motion control ICs are available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-axis versions. These flexible and programmable devices control DC brush, brushless DC, step, and microstepping motors. They are designed for demanding applications such as medical automation, general automation, and scientific instrumentation.
Two versions of the Magellan are available. The multi-motor MC58000 motion control series controls all motor types (DC brush, brushless DC, step, and microstepping motors). The MC55000 series provides dedicated pulse & direction output for advanced motion control and motor speed control.

The Navigator® Family of Motion Control ICs delivers highly-integrated, motion control technology for controlling multiple motor types including DC brush, brushless DC, step, and microstepping. Navigator motion control ICs are available in 1, 2, and 4-axis configurations, and are ideal for semiconductor handling, industrial equipment, and security. Applications include dc motor speed control and advanced motion control.
